This Privacy Policy explains how TopikPro ("TopikPro," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:

We do not knowingly request or collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health information, or biometric data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in
- To operate core App features: diagnostic testing, personalized lesson curricula, mock exams, wrong-answer review, and progress tracking
- To process and verify subscription purchases and manage your subscription status
- To sync your learning progress across devices
- To communicate with you about your account, your subscription, or important service updates
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App and prevent fraud or abuse
- To improve the App's content and features based on aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We use Supabase to host our database and backend infrastructure, and Google Play Billing / the Google Play Developer API to process and verify subscription purchases. These providers process data on our behalf, under our instructions, solely to operate the App.
- Google Sign-In: Authentication is handled through Google's Sign-In service. Google's handling of your account information during sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: If TopikPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a policy at least as protective.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that independently collect your personal data. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.

5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can:

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time, and in any event within the timeframes required by applicable law.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our backend infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
TopikPro is intended for users preparing for employment-related Korean language exams and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
8. International Users and Data Transfers
TopikPro is used by individuals in multiple countries, including Vietnam and Korea. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to provide an adequate level of protection for information transferred internationally.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
